Notes Showcase & Content Policy

What notes can be showcased, how AI Baba checks them and how you control them.

Effective 22 Oct 2026Updated 22 Oct 2026
Official contact e-mail: notesbaba.in@gmail.com. Notes Baba e-mails come ONLY from notifynb@nbmail.in (a no-reply address). Notes Baba never asks for codes, passwords or payments.

1. The idea

Notes Baba helps students show their own notes to students across India — for free. You stay the owner of your notes, choose who can see them, and can remove them whenever you want.

2. Who can submit

Only registered, signed-in Notes Baba users with a completed profile can open the Submit Notes page. If you are not registered, sign in or register first (it is free and needs only your e-mail). Your name, e-mail and mobile number are taken automatically from your profile — keep it up to date in My Account. Users under 18 need a parent's or guardian's consent.

3. What can be showcased

  • Study notes you made yourself — handwritten, typed or both — for any exam, class or course.
  • A single PDF, within the size and page limits shown on the submit page, without a password.
  • Clear, readable pages on the subject and topic you enter.

4. What is not allowed

  • Notes made by someone else, or copied from books, coaching material, websites, apps or other PDFs.
  • Watermarks, logos or stamps (including scanner-app marks like CamScanner), names of coaching institutes, publishers, websites, apps or channels used as branding, and links or QR codes. Your own name or signature on your own notes is fine.
  • Blank, repeated, padded or very low-effort files.
  • Unlawful, obscene, hateful, violent or harassing material, personal data of others, and leaked question papers or answer keys.
  • The exact same PDF already showcased by another Notes Maker.

5. The AI Baba check

Every new note and every edit (details or PDF) is checked by AI Baba before it can go live. AI Baba reads the pages, scores quality, content, usefulness and readability, looks for watermarks, branding and links, checks originality (including a web search where available) and checks safety. Notes are accepted when they meet the rules above and the minimum overall score. You see the result, the reasons and tips straight away. The number of checks per day is limited.

6. The Notes Showcase Agreement

After AI Baba accepts your notes you sign the Notes Showcase Agreement by typing a short line. It confirms the notes are yours and gives Notes Baba a free, non-exclusive licence to show them. Nothing is sold, no payment or reward is involved, and you keep your copyright. A copy is e-mailed to you and stored with your notes.

7. Your controls

  • Public — anyone can view the notes; Logged-in only — only signed-in Notes Baba users can open the PDF (the title and details stay listed).
  • Show or hide the "Download PDF" button. With it off, readers can only read your notes inside the Notes Baba PDF viewer (no download, printing or copying from the viewer); with it on, they can also download the PDF.
  • Edit details or upload a new PDF — AI Baba checks again and you sign again.
  • Delete notes at any time.

8. Notes Maker profile

Your public Notes Maker profile is created automatically after your first notes are accepted and published. It shows your full name, the Notes Maker badge, your number of notes, a Report button and "Notes by [your name]". The team may restrict a profile for policy reasons.

9. Badges

Badges are given automatically from the number of your notes accepted by AI Baba and published (edits don't count): the Top Contributor badge after 8 or more accepted notes, and the Verified Notes Maker badge, which replaces Top Contributor, after 25 or more. Badges are shown on your Notes Maker profile. Notes Baba may change these numbers, and may remove a badge if notes were not your own.

10. Stolen or branded notes

  • Notes with watermarks, logos, links or other people’s work are rejected.
  • Stolen notes lead to a block (90 days by default) on the seller’s e-mail, phone, UPI ID and account, and possible legal action.

When AI Baba finds that submitted notes are not the submitter’s own work, the account, e-mail address, phone number and network (IP) used are blocked from submitting notes for 90 days by default (the Notes Baba Team may set a different period or a permanent block, and may also block a UPI ID linked to the person). The original owner may take legal action under the Copyright Act, 1957. If you believe a block is a mistake, contact us with proof that the notes are yours.

11. Form can be paused

Notes Baba can turn the Submit Notes form off at any time (for example for maintenance or review) and will notify members by e-mail when it reopens. While the form is paused, your published notes and your dashboard controls (visibility, download button, delete) keep working.

12. Team moderation

The Notes Baba Team may hide or delete notes, restrict profiles, turn off submissions or suspend accounts after reports, copyright complaints or policy breaks. Hidden notes show the reason in your dashboard.
